‘You can’t blame Eden Hazard for wanting to go’
Listen as Blues supporters vent their rage on air after Sunday’s 6-0 humiliation against Manchester City
Chelsea cannot blame Eden Hazard for wanting to leave the club for a bigger and better team after their 6-0 mauling at Manchester City.
That’s according to one Blues fan, who joined talkSPORT to vent his anger and frustration following Sunday’s miserable afternoon at the Etihad Stadium.
Chelsea supporters were not happy after watching their beloved team suffer their heaviest ever Premier League defeat.
After a great start to the season, going 18 games unbeaten, Maurizio Sarri’s side have nosedived in recent months and their inconsistent form and defensive issues have seen Chelsea slip out of the top four.
The crushing defeat to City was the final straw for a number fans, who want the Italian boss out of their club.
And one sorry supporter even admitted he wouldn’t blame star man Hazard if he left Stamford Bridge in the summer, amid links with a move to Real Madrid.
“I feel sorry for Hazard,” the glum Blues fan said on talkSPORT.
“I’d like to shake his hand and say, ‘You know what Eden, thank you for all the service you’ve given us’.
“You can’t blame him for wanting to go to a bigger club, and you cant blame Callum Hudson-Odoi either for wanting to go to Bayern Munich.”
