Premier League table predicted: How super computer says table will finish – Liverpool 2ND | Football | Sport
Liverpool sit top of the Premier League by a point going into their final four games of the 2018/19 campaign.
And there is widespread optimism on the red side of Merseyside that Jurgen Klopp will lead them to the title.
Manchester City, though, stand in the way of Liverpool claiming top-flight glory for the first time since 1990.
And Pep Guardiola’s men have the advantage of having a game in hand on their top-of-the-table rivals.
Next up for Manchester City is a showdown with Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham at the Etihad this lunchtime.
City beat Spurs on Wednesday night but exited the Champions League on away goals following a 4-4 aggregate draw.
Liverpool, meanwhile, will face off against relegation-threatened Cardiff tomorrow afternoon.
And Klopp will be eager for them to repeat the 4-1 win they enjoyed over the Bluebirds back in October.
And Liverpool fans will not like how it has predicted the table will look come 5pm on May 12.
Liverpool are expected to finish second to City, having amassed a point fewer than the Sky Blues’ projected tally of 98.
It is anticipated Tottenham and Arsenal will round off the top four, with Manchester United in sixth.
Chelsea are being tipped to come home in sixth – which Maurizio Sarri will be desperately hoping to avoid.
Huddersfield and Fulham’s fate is a foregone conclusion with both teams already relegated.
It is predicted Cardiff will join them, with Brighton staying up with a points total of 36.
